Where can I try products?

In the first instance we would suggest talking with the hearing therapist at your local hospital hearing aid department or social services office who will have somebody who specialises in helping deaf people. They should have a range of equipment which they can demonstrate to help you decide which product is right for you.

The National Deaf Children's Society - NDCS - operate a 'Technology Test Drive' loan service of equipment for deaf children

Connevans Consultation Service

For customers wishing to see an advisor for demonstration of equipment, we at Connevans Limited are also able to offer a Consultation Service for products at our factory in Merstham, Surrey.

Different products require different level of staff skill and will typically need different lengths of session - so we've split products into 4 categories:

Group A: £17.50 (per 30min session) - Straightforward equipment with minimal set-up time eg. clocks, doorbells, hearing aid first aid

Group B: £22.50 (per 30min session) - Equipment with some se-up time eg. phones, mobile phones, TV listening aids, home loops

Group C: £125 (up to 2 hours) - Radio aid user set up and training session in Connevans headquarters in Merstham, Surrey

Group D: £650 (as much time as required) - Radio aid user set up and training session visiting the customer at their place of work. Includes milage (covers most of UK)


All prices are ex VAT and can be zero rated if the product can be zero rated. Our consultation fee is non refundable and is based on a private consultation of up to 30mins (unless otherwise stated). An extended session is charged on a pro-rata basis in multiples of 15mins.

All appointments must be pre-booked - to ensure a member of staff with appropriate product knowledge is available - we must point out that as a commercial company we are only able to discuss products that we sell, so we advise initially consulting an independent hearing therapist or social worker.
