On-site Radio Aid training and set-up support visit information

Connevans has been established for more than 50 years. Over that time we have amassed a wealth of experience and product knowledge which has supported our position within the industry.

We offer the option to purchase a training session with one of our experienced professionals, who will visit you to teach you in a one-to-one session how to use your equipment and set it up for you so that it will work for you in your particular situation.

We firmly believe that in situations where the end-user isn't familiar with the equipment, a training session is a valuable tool in ensuring that they are able to get the most out of their equipment. 

We are only able to offer training on equipment purchased from us. Training may be purchased at the time of equipment sale, or within one month of equipment sale.

The price includes travel and expenses. The training visit is not a set time - it will last as long as is required to set up & explain the system.

Note - while our trainers are able to cover the majority of the UK mainland, there are some areas where we cannot run training sessions. We will contact you if we anticipate any problems.

Terms & Conditions:

We understand that circumstances may occur which means you need to reschedule a visit or training date. We will do our utmost to re-assign a trainer onto other work but our standard cancellation policy is;

  • For cancellation on the day of the visit/training, 100% of the value will be charged.
  • For cancellation within 1-4 working days of the visit/training 50% will be charged.
  • No charge will be made with notifications of 5 working days or more.

Should you wish to return an item/s to us, our standard 30 day Returns Policy applies, however we will not refund the charge for the training visit, as this part of our service to you has been completed. How to cancel a training session

In the first instance, you should contact your trainer direct to cancel your training. They will have provided you with their email/telephone contact details. Please get in touch with them as soon as possible if you will not be able to attend the session.

If you are not able to get in contact with your trainer, please contact Connevans Customer Services by telephone on 01737 247571 or email via training@connevans.com

Our offices are open 8:30 to 17:00, Monday to Friday, excluding bank holidays.

It is your responsibility to ensure that you make contact with either your Trainer or Connevans to confirm cancellation of a training visit.


The impact of non-cancellation

If you need cancel a session with less than 24 hours notice; or do not attend a booked and confirmed session, we will have to charge for the full cost of the session.

Before we can make arrangements for another session, you will need to contact your disability advisor/assessor who will need to seek further approval for the cost of a second session.

Please note that before our trainers are able to attend a session, it must be not only booked but confirmed with you. If they are unable to reach you to confirm the session (not more than 7 days in advance and not less than 24 hours), the trainer will not attend. Please ensure that you are contactable prior to the session.
